A contemporary cuisine with old traditions

Stockholm’s oldest inn overlooks the bay of Brunnsviken. In the mid-1600s, Queen Kristina used to stop at what was then stable-master Ebbe Håkansson’s farm. Ever since colourful restaurateurs have kept the proud traditions alive.

Stallmästaregården of today is a modern restaurant, hotel, banquet and conference venue – yet retaining the timeless ambiance and traditions of genuine hospitality.

From the dining room, guests can enjoy the creativity of the chefs displayed in the open kitchen with its old charcoal grill, rotesserie and smokehouse. The menu offers fine international cuisine and classic Swedish fare with a modern twist.
